FACILITATORS' PROFILE
Mr PATRICK CHEONGPatrick Cheong is the Chief Operations Officer with In Tandem. With over 20 years of working experience covering sales, marketing and management as well as enrichment programmes, he has the ability to help participants to relate the learning points as well as transferring and applying them effectively into their workplace or daily life. Patrick has conducted training for directors, general managers, managers, supervisors, junior staffs as well as primary and secondary school students.
Some of the programmes conducted by Patrick include Team Building, Communication Skills, Anger Management, How to Have a Positive Mindset, Resume Writing & Interviewing Skills, Leadership and Study Skills, amongst others.
Mr TONY KIANG
Tony Kiang is an Senior Consultant with In Tandem and holds a professional qualification in Training and Development from University of Leicester, England as well as Outdoor Experential Learning qualifications from Merribrook Adventures (Australia) and Temasek Experential Learning Centre (Singapore). He has worked in the Human Resource Development industry since 1986 and has pioneered a local training education consultancy where he served as its regional manager conducting programmes both locally and overseas. Tony has extensively work experience in Indonesia and Malaysia and has trained managers of MNCs from the Asia Pacific Region.
Tony's approach to training and development is harnessing the synergistic resources of competent practitioners to impact the whole process of quality training or project delivery to the benefit of organisations and their workforce. It is also his philosophy, and also that of In Tandem's, that the services rendered should address real issues and performance gaps identified and resolved.
Mr TIMOTHY HAMONS
Timothy Hamons is a Facilitator cum Programme Designer with In Tandem. He has over 8 years of experience in the education field, both with students at secondary and tertiary levels. His areas of expertise include personal effectiveness training, presentation skills, teambuilding, creative thinking, goal setting as well as conflict resolution.
Timothy holds a B.S.A from University of Cincinnati, Ohio and has also taught degree programmes in Design and Communication. He has also facilitated for Youth programmes such as Camp Discovery, Cybercare Programme, SuperCamp as well as Teen Enrichment programmes.
Dr PATRICK LOW
Patrick Low is a Senior Consultant with In Tandem. A certified Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) practitioner, his training areas include effective selling, negotiation/ marketing and personal effectiveness/ leadership for organisations from industries like electronics, communications, courier/ transport, tourism, petroleum, financial services and trading. He has also taught Human Resource Management, Organisational Behaviour, Marketing and International Business for the Universities of London, Bradford (U.K.), Murdoch and Monash (Australia) and Ngee Ann Polytechnic.
Awarded the MIS/ Standard Chartered Gold Medal Award - 1994 for being the most outstanding graduate in the Graduate Diploma in Marketing of Financial Services, Patrick is also the author of (2000) (revised in 2002) Strategic Customer Management: Enhancing Customer Retention and Service Recovery (one of Border's Top 10 Business Books as featured in Asian Entrepreneur). The reading public has also given good rating of his second book, (2001) The Power of Relationships. Additionally, several of his articles have been published in magazines and journals.
Mr JOHN CHIA
John Chia is a Senior Consultant with In Tandem. He has trained many workers and managers on personal effectiveness, teamwork, communication, conflict management and leadership. He has trained many students in many teenage needs related topics such as peer pressure, motivation and study skill, boy girl relationship, sexuality, communication and leadership.
John is trained in the MBTI, DISC, Taylor Johnson Analysis, Prepare Enrich and Life Style Inventory from Human Synergistic. Prior to this he has worked in the pastoral ministry and had extensive experiences in counseling and working with youth and young Adult.
Miss TRACEY ONG
Tracey Ong is a Facilitator with In Tandem. A former Senior Manager with a statutory board (training), Tracey has facilitated training for frontline, supervisory and management levels in Singapore, Malaysia and Philippines. A certified trainer for Total Quality Process, Tracey's clientele include Multi National Corporations like M1, Singtel, Citibank N.A., AIA and Louis Vutton as well as Statutory Boards such as Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore, Singapore Police Force and National University Hospital.
Dr JOSEPH GUAN
Joseph Guan is a Senior Consultant with In Tandem. Joseph is a former secondary school teacher cum principal for some 20 years before being involved in training for the last 15 years. His specialisation is in the areas of emotional intelligence, stress management, learning strategies, personal effectiveness, team building, speed reading, time management as well as creative thinking skills. He has also presented international papers on educational and human development in Rome, United States and India. Joseph also has vast experience in the area of counselling, therapy and excutive coaching.
Mr CHAS TAN
Chas Tan is a Facilitator cum Local Workshop Coordinator with In Tandem. Chas specialises in programmes for the students and young adults. An active campaigner for community programmes and services, Chas is usually a well-received facilitator both in workshops and in camps. A qualified A.C.T.S Consultant and a specialist in Mind Mapping and Memory Technique Skills and who also deals extensively in the area of character building and counselling, Chas has conducted many workshops and camps for both primary and secondary schools in Singapore.
Mr ANDREW WONG
Andrew Wong is a Consultant with In Tandem. A former teacher in Singapore, Andrew is a true blue entrepreneur. As a pioneer for one of the top selling engine oil for motor vehicles in the region, Andrew currently runs his own company providing oil consultancy for petroleum firms. With his extensive experience in both the education and corporate world, Andrew provides invaluable advice to would-be entrepreneurs. An eloquent motivational speaker who holds a postgraduate Master in Business Administration, Andrew is also a keen developer of entrepreneurial and character programmes with a focus on both the students and working adults.
